IWGIA (International Working Group for
Indigenous Affairs) have published “The Indigenous World 2016” yearbook, which
was officially launched in New York on 17th May in relation to the
15th session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous
Issues.
The yearbook offers a global update on
the contemporary situation of the indigenous peoples and their human rights and
gives an overview of the main developments that have affected indigenous
peoples during 2015.
